Requirements to receive a crib are typically that the family has an infant under 12 months old and demonstrates a need for a safe sleep space due to financial hardship or lack of a crib. Families may also be asked to complete a short safe sleep education session to ensure they understand how to properly use the crib and practice safe sleep habits.
