Eligibility
Caregivers may be eligible to receive a crib through Prism Foundation’s Cribs for Kids program if they are pregnant, postpartum, or caring for an infant under 1 year of age and do not currently have access to a safe sleep environment for the child. Eligible caregivers would be required to participate in safe sleep education prior to receiving a crib. The education will review safe sleep practices, proper crib use, and ways to reduce unsafe sleep risks. Priority may be given to families experiencing financial hardship, families referred through maternal health, home visiting, healthcare, or community-based programs, and families who identify a need for safe sleep resources during outreach or intake.
