Must be financially unable to purchase a bassinet for safe sleep, or suffer a hardship that hinders them from obtaining a safe sleep space for their child under the age of 1.2. Safe Sleep kits will be provided to pregnant women or caregivers who are participants in the CMHRP or CMARC programs. Recipients of the Kits must complete Safe Sleep education, including a pre- and post-test. Kits will be available to others in the community on an emergent basis and must be requested from and coordinated with the local hospitals, DSS, or Providers' offices. -To request assistance with a Safe Sleep Kit, please contact 828-695-5893 or email tfickling@catawbacountync.gov.
